The Duchess of Sussex made a major impact on a female-founded business.

In an Instagram Reel shared yesterday by latte brand Clevr, CEO and cofounder Hannah Mendoza opened up about how Meghan's support changed everything for her company, which sells "superfood lattes" inspired by "holistic ingredients from around the world."

The reel includes a few sweet clips and pictures of Meghan speaking with Mendoza, posing for a group photo with other team members, and trying out some of Clevr's lattes.

In the video, Mendoza described Clevr's scrappy beginnings.

"During the week, we were fulfilling orders from our garage, blending up Clevr at a shared commercial kitchen, and then on the weekends, we'd pop up with our bar because we had zero marketing budget," she said. "Three years ago, everything changed."

Things quickly got moving when Meghan began to champion Clevr's products. When the duchess sent one of their lattes to Oprah Winfrey, business at Clevr boomed, Mendoza explained.

"None other than Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, had started drinking our lattes. Not only did she love the product, she was extremely passionate about supporting female founders, our sustainable sourcing, and our food justice giveback," Mendoza said. "Meghan ended up becoming our first investor, adviser, and biggest Clevr advocate. She even sent our turmeric latte to friends, and a few days later, I open my phone to see Oprah herself making our Golden SuperLatte in her own kitchen. … We lost it. Our small but mighty team was 100 percent not ready for this and ended up selling out for two months."

Mendoza concluded, "We've now served over six million lattes, and we owe so much of that to the power of women uplifting women, especially in business where only 2 percent of venture funding goes to female-founded brands."

Meghan previously talked about her decision to invest in Clevr in a press release, per People.

"This investment is in support of a passionate female entrepreneur who prioritizes building community alongside her business," the duchess said. "I'm proud to invest in Hannah's commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and creating a product that I personally love and has a holistic approach to wellness. I believe in her and I believe in her company."
