- Kylie Jenner shared a picture of herself and Stassie Karanikolaou wearing matching coats - nothing new there.
- Turns out, though, that they might be made from fox fur - and her fans aren't happy.
Kylie Jenner and BBF Stassie Karanikolaou are keen on a matching outfit.
They've worn matching Playboy bunny costumes (for Halloween) and co-ordinating crop tops and teeny tiny skirts in the past. But their latest matching look is certainly the most controversial, as the friends wore what appear to be the Foxy Leather Coat by Saks Potts, which has a collar and cuffs made from real fox fur.
Kylie shared pictures of her in a blue coat and Stassie in an orange version, captioning the snaps: '2020 energy💙.'
Kylie's followers spotted the fur immediately though, and have been calling her out in the comments.
For example, one wrote: 'Wearing fur is cruel and evil, please stop', while another added: 'Please stop with real fur! It's almost 2020 there are better options!'
The 22-year-old hasn't yet responded to the backlash.
Back in June, Kylie's sister Kim Kardashian revealed that she'd taken all her real furs and made them into faux furs, saying 'Remember when I wore this! [North] picked out the same look lol but fun fact- I took all of my fave furs and remade them in faux fur.
And even the Queen has ditched real fur from her wardrobe.
In her new book, The Other Side of The Coin, the Queen's personal assistant and dresser since 2002, Angela Kelly writes, 'if Her Majesty is due to attend an engagement in particularly cold weather, from 2019 onwards fake fur will be used to make sure she stays warm'.
